Horton's Steam Fair at Croxley Green Vintage Steam Fair

Looking for the perfect family day out in Hertfordshire this May Bank Holiday? Look no further! Horton’s Steam Fair is officially kicking off our 2026 tour right here on The Green in Croxley Green (WD3 3HN).

From Saturday, 2nd May to Monday, 4th May, we are bringing the magic of a traditional British fairground back to life. Whether you’re a local resident or visiting from nearby Rickmansworth or Watford, here is everything you need to know to plan your visit.

What to Expect

Nostalgia on Every Ride Our fairground isn’t just about rides; it’s about preserving history. Step back in time as you hear the whistle of our steam-powered Gallopers or take in the views of the village from our 1940s Big Wheel. For those seeking a bit more speed, the rare Lightning Skid will be whirring into action!

  • Traditional Side Stalls: Test your skill at our vintage games.
  • Family-Friendly Atmosphere: We offer a range of children’s rides specifically designed for our younger visitors.

Weekend Highlight: Free Saturday Night Fireworks!

We love being part of the Croxley community and together, we can enjoy the FREE professional firework display on Saturday, 2nd May once the sun goes down. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the start of the summer season with friends and family.

Smart Planning with our Ride Tokens!

Save on Ride Tokens While entry to the fairground is completely free, you’ll need tokens for the rides.

Don't wait until you arrive! You can buy your ride tokens online in advance. Not only does this let you skip the queues at the token box, but we also offer free bonus rides with our online bundles!
